TH350 to TH400 swap

Is the distance from the bell housing to the crossmember mount the same between the 350 and 400? All I have is the 350 crossmember and I'm wanting to mount the 400 to it and bolt it to the frame. What about depth, does a 400 crossmember drop down more? I can alway put spaceres in if so.

your cross member should work, but the th-400 is about 3" longer than the th-350 and the transfer case and adapter are also different if the th-400 doesn't already have a transfer on it.

the tranny fill tube also with the kick down bracket and switch for the gas pedel also . and there is short pan and deep pan tranny pans.
