th400 to np203 bolt up question

of all people i should be able to answer this . but i have yet to run across this one .

th400from a 85-up round 6 long input np205 . then np203 with the front face re-drilled and use a 208/241 adaptor .

will this combo length work or is the tail shaft to long or short ?

got a crazy idea to use something i have sitting around and sell something worth a lot of money .

maybe @1977k5 would know off the top of his head or @Stephen would know .

The stick ot is the same as the 208, and I believe the 85 up th400 had the same length shaft for the 205 or the 208, the adapter made out for the difference in tcase input length.
So I would venture to say yes.

Yup, 85 and up th400s with 205 and 208s have a about a 2.5” stickout.
