I've had the same carbon? Buildup on my 6.0 too
Did you clean the MAF also?
Made a big difference in idle quality for me.
Now imagine if you will...my cylinder head guy built that engine and ran 7.70 with it in a dragster! On carbs, normally aspirated and racing gas.
To me that's amazing as in 1965 top fuel dragsters with blown hemis on nitro only ran 7.75
Same problem with my traverse. I added a moroso catch can, and have had no issues since then. Whats worse is in the middle of the winter when the throttle body throws a code, and you can't get up hills due to limp mode.
