arghh... im only 21 and i remember when it was $.74
Great times. Pipe dream now.
My grandpa tells me when he could have a night on the town for .50
The good ol days only 5 years ago
That's worse than looking at my 21 year old pictures.
In high school, my brother and I would argue about who was going to pay for the $1 worth of gas to get us to school for a week!!!!
Your an ass..............
I remember the first time I ever put gas in My car when I was 16, it was the last year that we could get leaded gas and I paid $.69. Of course that was before the big tax increases and the additives that were supposed to make your car run better If I recall it ran a hell of a lot better with the lead.
If I recall correctly, that picture was taken back in '98 down in Elk City
I remember when I first got married $20 would get me to work all week plus cover my running around as well, and that was in my Blazer.
the mini has still never cost more than 20 bucks to fill up
Yup, the good old days...........
I think when I first got my K5, it would take about $25 and that was when I was living in Cali...............................................
Now when I take the Crown Vic on the road, I'm dropping anywhere from $45 to $50 for a tank of gas, it would probably be close to double for the K5
Were talking about gas Dale, not rubber bands
you are just jealous
yea i guess my good old days are like 2.50
10.5 billion dollar profit, but no price gouging going on.
no money being made there
No kiddin' I guess I'm not much help here either. The good old days for me are still in the $2.00 range, the cheapest I can ever remember is like $1.60 or so.
youngin, but I guess Im young too, the lowest I remember it being was $.80
I am with the "dollar to get you around for a week" good old days.
I can rember times after a hard weekend of partying waking up Monday morning. with a few dollars and change in my pocket, and an empty tank.. 5.00 was plenty of money to get me back and forth to work and feed me for a week with maby a little left over for a 69 cent 6 pack or 2 of Brown Derby to last till Friday.
Then it was Pay Day. I could do it all over again
jesus lordy and you know how to use a computer, Im impressed!
