umm, air down your tires before you wheel.

And XJ steering shaft swap. You could get one at a junkyard for like 10-25 bucks

I'm not going to bother buying that :doah:

Thats what I thought for a while too. Luckily my frame hasnt actually cracked yet, but the steering has started to really suck on the trail lately. The box has started to pull at the bolts to the frame and has started to warp the frame there. Very very close to cracking it but im not gonna wheel it again until I brace it.....because im almost positive it will crack if I wheel it hard again.:doah:

what are the advanges of these things?

strenghts steering, by elimintating the rag-joint which depeding on your truck is crap or great. personally i didnt notice much of a difference in my steering, except when driving in s-curves. others have noticeced a night and day difference.

just do it!:D

HMM. my addition to this thread would have to be a good hitch (recovery point) and GRADE 8 BOLTS for it

Mines already cracked. I may just have to make one then

Rubbing toothpaste on chrome will polish it. Takes some elbow grease though. Im going to try it with my Dremel and the polishing wheel it came with. Also works on plastic headlight covers that a lot of cars have.

I've heard a sugar cube and somespit or water also works. I haven't tried it though

This is kind of a weird one, but here goes... Get a floor or wall house vent and cut a hole for it and attach it in your hood and it will allow more air to flow to your motor and other stuff. I actually noticed a 10 to 15 degree drop in my thermostat after doing it. Cost like 10 bucks. Or yank one off your house for free.
