This is a Full Floater Axle right?

regardless its a full float axle. Looks like a 14 bolt most 60s use studs and nuts

Its on a 70's Chevy HD truck front axle is a 10 bolt though from what I could see. Grass was super long

Wonder why the front doesnt have a floater?Seems it would make more sence when you drive in a pond.:doah:

the fronts only a semifloater because when you go through a pond your supposed to go backwards. the full floater in the rear raises it up and semifloater in the front allows the engine to go down so the cooling fan can act like a propeller and the steering wheels to be used like rudders.

I keeeeeeeel you....

Honestly, didnt know if the fronts were considered semifloat or full float, now i know! haha. I just figured if i called it a semifloat it helps my joke haha.

front would be full loater for out style. as the axle only send power to the wheels.

a semi floater = axle holds weight and send power to wheel.

are 14bff rare to find with most of you guys? I can find them here in the Jyards all day. Probably 3-5 in each one near my house. Just never any 60s or D44 for that mater. For some reason the 10b are everywhere too, that is on 4x4s, those are hard to find.
