You know why it works? Let me tell you...it's mathematically rigged. When you pick a two digit number, lets say 38, you're going to subract the 8 from that number - which gives you 30...then you subract the 3, which gives you 27. You will get 27 with ANY number from 30-39. So, let's say they assign a black diamond to #27. Now, pick number 56. Subtract the 6 from that, you get 50. Subtract the 5, you get 45. You'll get 45 for ANY number from 50-59. So, they assign a black diamond to that. If you can see the pattern here, they assign a black diamond to the only possible answers. Then, next time around, they change the shape, but it's still the same numbers. Make sense to you now? Hate to spoil the "trick" but like most "tricks," it's purely mathematical.

There are only 9 possible answers. 9, 18, 27, 36, etc up to 81. The symbol assigned to that set of numbers is always the same for all 9 numbers. They change the symbol each time but those 9 numbers always have the same symbol. The rest of the numbers and symbols are just window dressing. Rene

Just a number thing.Symbels change,but math is constant.It's still cool though.Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
