I was in the middle of this:
Aight since I have a hard time remember 2 days ago much less 2 years what praytell is that rather large and extensive looking fire?
It's been dubbed as the "King Street Fire". It took place in Elizabethtown, NC, on, well, King Street. It's the biggest structure fire Bladen County has seen in the last half-century that I know of.
Here's some more:
It was a mexican grocery store, a laundromat, a christian bookstore, and a real estate agency. We gained control of it before it took out the landmark tire shop on the right end.
6 departments, five of which were from Bladen County. Lake Waccamaw in Columbus County was gracious enough to send us the tall elevated master stream.
Phoenix had one of those here a few years ago. Was a real wizbanger and funnily enough started in a Mexican Grocery store.
