Where do the rear seat belts mount to on the floor??? The middle ones are bolted to the seat itself, the one end of the shoulder belt hangs from the topper, where does the other end bolt too?

Also anyone know where to get a strut for the rear seat...the one on the passenger side behind the rear seat that holds the rear seat forward when its flipped down.

One more thing....the front seat belts...do they use a special bolt to hold the female end to the floor...or can I just use a regular grade 8 bolt?

Just ran out and looked at my '90K5. The lower part of the shoulder harness bolts to the floor on the inside of the wheel well. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

pull up the carpet there is a star there. mines right to the side of the wheel well

Don't believe the threads for the front belts are anything abnormal. Probably standard threads. Just the heads are different, they use a T47 (Torx bit) for removal in case you need to pull the ones in there. Suspect you don't have any thats why the question though. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm also looking for a replacment strut for the rear fold-up seat.

/forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif What do you mean a star?
Guess I'll look again /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

The floorboard seat belt bolts are metric, usually with a torx head.

Oh by 'star' he meant torx head /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Yeah, well I took everything out, now putting it back in and cant find my seat belt bolts anywhere. Someone must have broke in and stole them, cause I sure as hell didnt misplace them /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Anyone got any extras?! /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

I've got some extra seat belt bolts, but your probably best just getting some from a junk yard. The look like grade 8 bolts and should be safe to re-use.

Ive always called them star wrenches.
