To avoid too much sidetracking of the nicotine thread? Thoughts? If so, here goes! If no, delete, no harm! Just had a thought as I was contributing to the derailing, LOL!
I'm at 300lbs right now and would like to get down to 240lbs by years end. I really don't have any clue as to a realistic breakdown of short term goals for that end result though, I do need to work on that. If this thread seems familiar it is because I had the same beginning weight and goal weight in 2015 but, various goings on contributed to the downfall of my plans. I really must do better this year though, I am starting to see the health effects of my weight, bad diet, and inactivity. So, here goes:
    1. blowedupmotor87- 300lbs now, goal is 240lbs by year's end (hopefully sooner!)
    2. GWeakland620- 250lbs now, goal is 220-230 by June
    3. skunked- 225lbs now, goal is 200lbs by ???
    4. muddysub- TBD
    5. rebelgregory (Ryan) - Currently 274 lbs, Lose 30 by June and 40 or more by Dec 2016.
    6. Blazinzuk - Current weight (12/29/16) is 304. Goal is 250.
    7. Stein - Drinking - Quit 11/1/2015. Eliminate / cut back on caffeine. 1/1/2016
    8. Swettysblazer - quitting sodas.
    9. Fife - soda consumption, Quitting 12/20/15. Cutting back on alcohol, 1/11/2016.
    10. NEK5 (Ben) - Quit drinking 12/1/15, Quitting all fast food, processed foods, and soda on 1/1/16.
    11. Big Ray- Starting at 364lb- steadily shedding!
    12. warrpath4x4- starting at 300lb goal is 225lb by year's end.
    13. Ryoken- 210lbs looking to shed 10-15lbs.
    14. Russell- 210lbs, looking to get to 195lbs.

Yeah, I'm in too. Currently 250, and would like to be at 220-230 by June (date set by Rebelgregory).

I offered to separate the threads before. The only response I got was from Rene, the admin, who suggested we keep them together. I could go either way. If we separate them, I'll let someone else start it - like maybe just use this thread. whattya say @blowedupmotor87 ?

PS: What does it do when I write that "@"? Do you get a message or something?

More oatmeal again this morning. Boring meal, but worth it in the end. Also limited my dinner last night, and proceeded to skip the evening snack before bed. Getting the eating habit down first, then the exorcise will follow.

I'd like to get down to 200 again, I'm currently around 225 @ 6'4". Wife and I already plan to eat less carbs and fatty foods after the Holidays are over. Cutting out beer during the week makes a big difference......but I love beer :(

Cool deal, I will add to the list at the top! Rebelgregory- sorry about that, I didn't realize that the decree was to keep them together, my bad!
GWeakland620- good luck with the exorcism! That might be something for another thread though???? :rotfl:
Skunked- I was 6'3" and 165lb when I graduated high school! Now I am 6'2" and 300lb, seems I am growing circumferentially but shrinking vertically! :dunno:
I think the "healthy weight BMI charts" say I should be at like 152-199lbs but, at 165lbs (when a senior in highschool) my nicknames were "Waldo" and "Auschwitz Victim" (terrible, I know!), I was seriously scrawny looking!!!! After my freshman year of college I was at 220lbs and that seemed about right but, ideally, I would like to have more muscle weight than I did then so, my goal is 240lbs. (still above "healthy weight" BUT, a heck of a lot better than 300lbs, I reckon!)

So, I'll add the list in the top post, and we'll see how this goes!!! :thumb:

Glad to have you onboard muddysub!!! My inlaws moved in with us for a month over the summer, it definitely ummm... unsettles one's routines, LOL! We all get along well but, it was still interesting at times.

Cool. I'll sanitize the weight loss stuff from the other thread, or at least from the first post. I think I've tracked everyone's commitments so far, so I'll give it a couple days for you to copy 'em.

Just so my goal is listed in this thread: I'm 6ft even and 260 currently. Goal is to be 230 by June 2016 and 220 or less by December 2016.
