just wondering if throttle body spacers are worth the money or not.
some people say they are some say they only help top end power i have one i got for free and will be putting it under my carb this week so ill let you know what i come up with after i try it /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
I have two one inch spacers on my TBI (aftermarket Howell F.I.) I haven't really noticed anything at all... except maybe a little hesitation when I first hit the throttle.
I don't notice anything on the upper end, as I have a very low-end TORQUE cam.
What cam do you have?
They certainly don't provide $90 worth of difference. Save your money, unless you can get a free one like mudhog did! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
They will do screwy things to anything run by vacuum, which is why they are not CARB approved here in CA. They are supposed to improve throttle response, and give you more torque, haven't heard any real numbers yet though.
