Tilt Steering Crapped All To Hell

My tilt steering has been quite loose for a while, and like an idiot, I just ignored it. Well today, it went all to hell. It is so loose, it almost feels like the darn thing is going to come off into my hands. While turning, the truck turns off because the key mechanism moves too far (into the off position). Anyway, what can I do now? I'm not super mechanically inclined, but I always do the normal maintenance stuff (oil & filter change, spark plugs, belts, fuel filter, etc) myself. How difficult a task will it be for me to either fix my current steering column (which I'm not sure is fixable) or to replace it with a new steering column? Any help/ suggestions would be great.

BTW, this is on an '85 full size Jimmy.

Replacing the column is easy.
Fixing it is a little harder but not too bad. Mail it to me and I'll fix it for ya....:D
