my 1989 suburban's tbi350 has 155,000mi on it, but it seems to be in good shape. i don't get to drive it much (no lisence yet) but it feels rather strong when i do get to drive it. i'm just wondering how much longer the thing is gonna last. i really want to get a 383 stroker for my truck. and i'm gonna get 35x12.50s pretty soon, would that just put an end to it's life with the stock 3.73s? i definitely dont have the money for a new engine right now. and i've only done 1 rebuild before and that was a big Caterpillar diesel engine. so i cant biuld an engine for my sub yet.

    1989 suburban 3/4t 4" lift soon to be rollin on 35s, tbi350

It should last a little while longer as long as its been taken care of. With that lift and those gears, you'd probably be better of with 33's IMHO
