I have had mine out the back, out the corners, and now out right in front of the back tires. it works pretty good everyonce and a while you get a wiff of fumes. I know that straight out the back is horrible! Ive heard that if you can get one of the wind deflectors for the back window it will eliminate the fumes completely. i keep sayin im gona get one but for the most part during the summer the top is off so during the winter i really dont have the back window down. btw i have the magna flows i really like the way they sound.

I've got the deflector on my truck, with the factory side exits, every once in a great while when I get on it I can smell the exhuast, but that's only during acceleration.

You could look into the Cherry Bomb Extreme. A friend put mine on his truck sounds good ,very similar to the Flowmaster 40 but at about half the size and cost.

I got regular flowmaster 40's and turndowns like Obijuans cept for mine actually turn-down right off the muffler. So it's about 6 inches shorter. I like it and have no problems and i've run 2 blazers like this.

Of course out the back is a no-no on these :doah:

Since i've had my second Blazer i really have no problems due to the fact that if i can run with the back window down the top usually comes off :D

my 75 truggy has full frame , and most of the floor intact , and a shackle flip on stock rear springs , my exhaust dumps here on both sides :

my '86 K30 CC already has true duals, and no cats... i'm thinking of thrush mufflers, and exiting just in front of the back tire... don't think there will be any problems with fumes into the back/side doors do you...? thinking i might even turn them up, and exit through the bedsides...

on my k30 i have them behind the rear tire each side, with flowmasters and not much fumes at all. my shortbed they go to the bumper and are angled 60 degrees with knock off flowmasters and it gets some fumes in the rear window when sitting, down the highway it does good... the blazer has knock off flowmsters and tail pipes aimed on a 45 out each corner and that does real well...il get ya pics when i have time.

I got Summit Turbo mufflers, true duals, 2.5" pipe, no cats, and dumps right after the mufflers with a slight angle to the sides. A little fumes with back window down, but none on the trail. It also sounds really good. Not to loud and no drone. here are some pics.
