tips,tricks etc for cleaning gutted K5

Curious how you guys get all the little metal particulars after metal work on the inside. This includes metal dash frame,vents etc. Wife hates smell of metal and feeling of it any where and would like to make her happy and have my 2 kids ride in it again.

Take a nice high powered leaf blower to the inside of the truck

Or if the inside really is gutted you could hose it out.

2 seats and console all can be unbolted. Gutted enough? worried about wiring things like that. Dash pad etc all removed.

Leaf blower, or shop vac. Shop vac can be set up as a blower to get the stuff out of the hard spots, then set up as a vac to remove it all. A bit of febreeze in the vents later won't hurt...
