Here's the issue. I have a m1009 with factory wheels and tires. The tires are dry rotted pretty good but I like the steel wheels (15x8?). I have a 91' k5 that has brand new, 2k, BFG AT's mounted on the factory alloy wheels (15x7?). I will be selling or parting out the 91' soon and figured I would swap tires or just swap the whole wheel/tire combo.
If I swap wheel and tires the 91' will lose it's resale value but it's free and I save money by keeping my tires.
If I unmount and remount the BFG's on the steelies and old tires on the alloy's it will cost about $50 per tire (mounting 8 tires at $25 ea.).
Or buy new tires for the m1009 with the $ made from the 91'.
All tire's involed are 31x10.5x15 and would like to keep that size. I did think about getting the 33x9.5x15's for the m1009
