Tire manufacture date

You are looking for a 15" tire ? You need tires and wheels go 17". Are your axles 8 lugs? idrc atm.
Im confused by your question.
8 lug..
37’ tire
17’ wheel. ( I already ordered proComp 17’ wheels today)
I don’t know what “idcr atm” means... edit..”Idrc”

@Wes Harden
Thanks for the links..
Those Milestar are really affordable.
The Toyo open countries are nice, I might get those

I tried getting the pro comp through discount but they are $50 more a tire than through 4wheelparts.

4wheelparts when they have a sale is hard to beat on tires. I don't patronize them partly cause I don't have a Heep, but mostly cause after sale customer service sucks, and they laid off my buddy cause he was old.

Man those Patagonia tires are right in budget $1,067 for 4 tires..... significantly cheaper than any others by at least $300... with what I save getting them mounting/balancing wont break the bank...

Are they good tires and would you run then

When do they usually run those buy 3 get 1 deals?

Last time I remember was January. Watch 4WheelParts website. The parent company that owns 4WP also owns ProComp and has a parts distribution company. So 4WP advertises it a lot, but the offer is from the parent company and anyone that sells them can offer it

So the Milestars I have a set of their all season street radials on my van for @ 20k miles they are wearing well aging well 6 or 7 years old now. I wouldn't hesitate to get them if my budget was tight.
They are being used by a few KOH racers for the last couple of years. From what I understand Milestar is not gifting them to racers as spongers, so racers are actually buying them to race on.

Thanks for that input. I’m going to give them a try,

Thinking about wheel size I put 8" width earlier, might be hard to find in a 17. 9" will probably be good.

You can still get military take-off tires in 37/12.5/16.5 from various sources, including the Goodyear "OZ", BFG Baja and MT/R. You can even find 100% tread MT/R sometimes. However, some of these tires won't ride nice so you might go through a few extra tires in the quest for a good set.

Treadwright is also selling remolded tires of their own tread pattern, but availability varies. https://www.treadwright.com/collections/filter?search_by_size=true&width=&ratio=12-5&rim=16-5&range=

Just thought I'd point that out before you scrap your 16.5 wheels.

I think general grabber atx may pull out ahead. They are roughly $250 more on the total bill.,,,

Probably go with the Pro Comp tires as well...
Looks good, just wanted to “test fit” them before ordering the tires
Haha, these will be the shiniest thing on the truck.

I have Cooper Discovery on my dune buggy. They see more off road than on, low mileage but they look brand new. Also put them on the motorhome, since it camps in places we off road. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.
I always wanted to try the generals, but every time I was buying tires they were outta stock.
