I spent many of my teenage years busting tires. I know that the average vehicle is 35 psi. I have heard alot of different opinions for psi on bigger tires. Usually the word is Lower..something more like 30psi. I would like to see what you guys think? What psi should i run in my Iroks while cruising around town?

Put chalk on the tire and roll forward. If only the middle of the tread leaves a mark on the pavement, lower the pressure.

I would bet 30 is a little too high.

Do a wet "rolling test" to find optimum pressure for any given tire. Get yourself a spray bottle and spray the tire so that you can have it wet enough to leave a mark on a piece of paper to show contact pattern. You want to have the complete tread make contact with the paper to give best tire wear for street driving. Now that the tire is sprayed with enough water to leave a mark drive over the piece of paper and see the results. too little tire pressure will show marks on tire outer edges, too much pressure and only the center of the tread will leave a mark.

i run about 32psi in mine...36x14.50x15 parnelli jones...don't really pay attention to mileage...when they're wore out, time for new ones...

I agree with the above in determing the correct psi, though I normally always bump the front pressure up a little bit more to account for the extra lateral forces the front tires see when cornering.

With all other things equal, a taller and/or wider tires will require less pressure than a smaller tire. This is because it is the volume of air that determines how much weight the tire can carry, not the psi. As the size of the tire increases it can hold a higher volume of air at a lower psi.....put 5 psi in a big truck tire tube and you can float in the pool all day long, put 50 psi in a small bicycle tube and you will sink to the bottom if you sit on it. They just use the pressure because it's easy to check, it would be really hard to put a volume gauge on a tire.
