Tires a roastin

If you really want to ruin your tires put a rear brake line cut off in the line. We did this recently to a friends truck. He has a bone stock tired azz 350/350/203 with 4.56's and 44 x 18" TSL's and his will smoke them as long as he powerbrakes it with the rear brakes shut off.

As far as roasting tires goes, back when my truck was street driveable, I had a mostly stock 402 big block, TH350 and welded 14b w/3.73's. I could power brake and burnout in 2wd high range and tranny in drive on cammand. There are 2 or 3 sets on tire sized divits in the parking lot in front of the local Autozone that are my responsibility. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif I could even do them in reverse. lol, I wonder why the TH350 blew apart 2 weeks after I swapped in the big block.... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

You should have seen that damn creamsicle when I got it. WOW. I've seen junk before, but nothing compared to that POS. The scary thing is that I drove it home. I have video of chunks of body falling off as I hit bumps in the road. lol. Good thing I only had to take a few miles of back roads to get home. It was free, and I sold it for a hundred bucks. I almost wish I had kept it, just for the burnouts /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
 
I can get my 35's going if I feel like it (which are RARELY do). I have only done it twice. I have to power brake it do do it but I can do it. My truck is an auto with a 1200 stall converter.

I do have 4.56 gears, 700R4 (low first) trans, and a mild 350 with TPI fuel injection. I make a fair amount of torque right off idle. But I do have a welded rear though.

If I can get the rear tires on pavement with a little water it is easy. I have never done a smoke show though. Just done it to see if I could mostly, and I can.

The only time I can't is if the pavement has alot of traction (new asphalt or something) and it will just push my truck instead of spin them.
 
I can light up the the 38' regular TSL's on my buggy on pavement with no problem, and i run a carbed 250 inline six, 700r4, NP208, into 3:73 geared rearend which is Lincoln locked
However it definitly can't smolder them and my rig only weigh's 2800lb with the tube chassis and like the other guy's said Swamper's cost WAY too much to being doing that to very often /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

My fullzize 74' K20 i THINK would spin them, but with a lincoln locked rear turning 37" Goodyear M/T's and a driveshaft with only half ton 1310/369 u-joint's at the T-case

I am afraid that the only result i'll have when i drop the clutch is that i'll have to walk across the road and pick my driveshaft up /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

I haven't tried with mine but I'm sure I could..454 - 4 speed - 4:56's but I'll wait until after I fab up some anti wrap bars so i don't trash my new 57" springs

By blazer with 35's can spin tires, maybe only a chirp on the pavement, but why would you want to be on he pavement..DIRT and MUD ALL THE WAY!!!

try it in 4 lo with the hubs un locked /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif, but dont hold me responsable for any damages, ill have to get the video of me rosting off my 38's in 4 lo, all 4 tires spinning, but that was thanks to 10 quarts of waste oil /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
