Where can i buy the tool required to remove the top on an 89 Jimmy?
Napa or the dealer. I take it you don't have regular bolts? I think 9/16"
Once you get them out, it's your call whether to put them back in or just replace them with more regular bolts. I never heard of a hard top stolen off a blazer because the special bolts had been replaced. Chances are some people keep their special socket in the vehicle anyway.
the tool is called a tamper proof torx bit, you can get em any where they sell a lot of tools, and it is a T-40 tamper proof for that truck
