Hey!

Doesn't get much better than this.....

My K5 came that way (PO installed)!

THERE FIXED IT!
Anyway I like the visor, but I think it might get caught on a limb while off roading.

Is that like a K5, only one better? :haha:

Yeah, I woulda put the moonvisors at the top of the list. Chrome anything, especially tow hooks or, say, springs or shackles, also figure prominently.

Light bars, I donno. I have one. Not so much chrome, but I like it.

to each their own, I like visors... some like their rigs to look like rollerskates....

I like the visors but after doing a MPG road test on the last trip, I had to take it off. They do make a differnce. My blazer still wears one.

How much did you loose??? I put one on my 91 burb and noted no change at all. ( although I was expecting one )

And I check my mileage every tank on every vehicle I own. ( as long as it has a functional odometer lol)

I was using GPS to check it and did it over the course of the trip to Zimmer's place out in Mich. Something like a 700 mile trip one way.

It wasn't quite 2mpg but damn close. We were also driving straight into the wind on the way out. I swear you could feel the difference once it was removed.

wow 2 mpg is alot!! I'd have pulled it too.

I wonder if the angle you mount it at has any effect on its drag, I mounted mine with the leading edge as low as possible

My dad has a jeep and every time I've been in it, I've thought about how you could never take your wife and another couple camping in one for a weekend. No room for food, tent, and tools. Hell, not even room for the 4 of you, let alone the dog! ;) and I'm a backpacker, so I know how to pack light.

I agree with this. The wife has an 08 FJ. Its nice, but with my son and 2 dogs it doesn't cut it. Most our long weekend trips are done in the k5.

I don't agree with the trailer thing. I towed my blazer last time I went out and I am glad I did because the u joint was about to fail
