Torque amounts Tcase and pinion nut

Every big nut on the 205 (outputs and idler) are between 90 and 120ftlbs. 14 bolt not sure

Found 150 ft. lbs. for the rear output on the T-case. Nothing on the yoke nut for the 14. Checked both Chilton's and Haynes.

I guess KTM wouldn't know since he has FORD parts on his?:doah:

You didnt say what 14 bolt axle. 14ff is a crush sleeve and I believe 5-15 ft pounds resistence. 14 sf is a normal shim axle and is about the same torque reading. Must be done with the ring gear out. Otherwise just tighten it and hope it is ok. Just don't over tighten it or you will ruin your pinion bearings. Must use dial indicator torque wrench as well. The transfer case is 90-130 ft lbs and is not as critical as getting the pinion nut tightened correctly.
