I will be there the same weekend! I‘ll be with a small group - 6 including me. We plan on starting at Loon early 6/11

I’ll keep an eye out!

Sounds like we’ll head in from Loon Saturday AM and try to find a spot at buck. I’ll definitely keep an eye out, can’t miss another square on the trail.

It was great to meet you guys on the trail! Sorry my dad and I were on a mad dash to try and limp that buggy out. Wish we could have linked up later on but we didn't cross paths again.

The other half of my group pushed on and we met up with them later. It looks like one of the guys snagged a picture of @skunked doing soup bowl.

Nice and yes that's me on Soup Bowl. It was entertaining shortly before that with a couple rigs getting up Soup Kitchen and one flopped.

I think you stopped by when I was pulling my battery In/Out for the welder so I didn't get a chance to introduce myself. Next time for sure.....

Yea I heard about it! Two guys running it over and over again and not letting anyone pass until one almost rolled onto the other one.

It was a fun trip I ran into a huge rock and stuck my butt onto another ended up getting off it with a little help from @onetonbb74 but ended up cracking my hydro mount tube which required us removing our battery’s and welding it back together. I also burned up a relay for my electric fans due to bad electrical choices on my part but other than that it was great got to meet @bmxbryant9 and his family and the rig performed really well was able to get up soupbowl with some help from @skunked spotting me one my way up . Here’s a couple pics .

Took My K5 9,500 feet on top of Sonora Pass buck hunting for 10 days. Living at that altitude is tuff on the breathing for sure... just walk slow and take a seat often lol.
Not a "wheeling" trip but, I finally got off the damn pavement and was able too pin-striped my rattlecan paintjob with all the buck brush while wheeling the back country! Paint looks way better now ahhahaa
Anyway just thought I would share and hope all you all are safe from all the damn fires out there!!

I have one of these in my X Chassis; although I have never used it. I figured for it to be efficient I would have to enclose the cab.

How do these hook up? Is it plumbed into the cooling system on the truck?

Thanks, I found that right after I posted. It looks pretty neat and a good option. I had to pull everything out for the shocks and I don't want to freeze this winter.
