Tranny shift from column to floor

ya they look janky but no mater the company they are the same, good idea for the lights
thanks man

make sure to pin up the arm in the engine bay so you can pull the key from the column .

had a B&M light truck mega shifter in my first square back in the day and after a week it SUCKED A$$ .

anymore just get a nice lokar unit . way better quality :saweet:

years ago i did a B&M light truck mega shifter . it looked good but i hated it after a week . interlock to pull up to get in to reverse or drive . and ratchet down to 1st and then back up to get N and pull inter lock for REV . . . . . i am back to factory in the daily driver . and i like my lokar . last one i had was GREAT push button in center and go were ever you wanted like stock just on the floor .

few pics of my old setup that people use to think was stick shift . was trans mount and linkage rod super short . . . loved that sucker . was on a th400 and up threw floor were stock 4speed sm465 shifter hole would have been . then slid on a gm 4 speed sm465 boot for the complete look .

I like this Lokar setup, I'm trying to figure out what part numbers you ordered...

Is the shifter you used the 23" double bend?

Also, were you able to install this on your turbo 400 with the tranny still in the truck?

thanks in advance

@Bohemian yes it fit in there and was tight for the size hold i had cut . also that was a 2wd low hump floor pan with a 2" body lift and the th400/205 combo . if i recall it was the 23" and was just right for height . i will say in the black / midnight series and 4 speed boot i fooled a lot of people thinking it was stick shift .
