Notice there is no boss for the 205 shifter? I e-mailed the seller and he said there is nothing on the side of the adaptor for a shifter.

What you guys think? Does anyone have an adaptor laying around they could get numbers off of? I'm betting this is the 400/208 adaptor instead but I don't have anything to get numbers off of.

I want to make sure this is the 208 before I bid on it. Don't want to get something that won't work for a 205.

You're right, that adapter is for the TH400/NP208. If you need the TH400/NP205 adapter, try Northwest Fab, They usually have a good supply of used adapters.

Looks like an 85 and newer 400/208 and 400/241 adapter to me.

Kind of what I was thinkin, too. Gonna be some disappointed bidder who finds out his shifter won't bolt on if he hooks up a 205.

Look agin, the seller has noted the difference and allowed retraction of bids. Got to respect someone who will own up to a mistake and make it right.

Drop me a line about the 465 adaptor you have for sale, are the casting #s the same for the 208 adaptor as the 205?
Whats the casting # on your unit?
Isn't the 208 a lil shorter... so to use it with a round pattern 205 I'd have to swap out the long input for a short one? yes/no
