Trans shop said $189.00 ??

For a reseal on my transfercase....
How hard is it to do myself??
Ive done mech fuel pumps, clutch on nissan pickup and stuff like that but never anything to do with auto trans.
Is it worth 189.00 to let them do it, its leaking more and more everyday!!!

Do it yourself. You won't need to touch tranny.

Is it the seal between the transmission and adaptor, or adaptor and transfercase?

I think I am having the same problem with mine is leaking where the t case splits. how hard it that to replace that gasket....Jason

sorry not trying to hijack but we maybe having the same problem. by the way my transfer has never been rebuilt....

Save yourself $100+ and do it yourself. Its just like lego's.

Its where the case splits in the middle.
So I wont have gears and stuff falling out when I split the t-case open??
