I remember reading a post where some ppl said to hit the dealer for certain items as apposed to going aftermarket. I dont remember if it was in reference to weatherstripping. ANyways, I want to pull my topper off and replace the weatherstripping and was just going to go thru LMC for everything.

I believe it was Scott or Dorian that had some issue with top weatherstripping fitment.. too long or something....

I think it's kinda hit or miss with repro weatherstripping.. some good, some bad.... Haven't researched it, but ya might wanna see what pieces Softseal offers in addition to LMC..

IIRC the issue was with full-vert stuff, i.e. 73-75, as I ended up being able to sell my NOS pieces =))

GM doesn't sell the rear window piece that fits in the topper. LMC's was junk, but it's all you could get a few years ago. Made wrong, cheap materials, you name it.

The seals that run the length of the topper on the bed rails that LMC sold me were miscast, they had the ends swapped left/right, so they were impossible to use. The replacements they sent were correct, but they were short, so had to be laid out in the sun, then stretched to fit.

Get what you can from the dealer.
