I have a 6.2 with a 6.5 turbo setup on it. Wanting to install a turbo master on it. I need pics of this. Have searched the web,and here and photobucket has failed the world. My turbo has GM8 stamped on it.

I made my own - you can as well if you can cut and weld steel. I'll snap a picture over lunchtime today if it's helpful to you. All you need is a bracket which attaches to the turbo and holds a hardware-store spring in place around the wastegate linkage rod. It's like $5 worth of materials and an hour of time versus $120+ from Heath.

For the GM-8, you'll either need a bellcrank to turn the actuation path or you'll have to mount the assembly 90° out from the way I've done mine (GM-4). My wastegate rod moves front-back, yours will move up-down.

Here ya go...shots are from the top and from the front end.

All you're doing is replicating the pull of the vacuum diaphragm against the wastegate.

ETA: to set the tension of the spring, you'll really want a boost gauge...which you should have along with a pyro gauge anyway.
