twin stick--- what do you think?

yeah thats exactly the company i got mine from..... it was $99 at the time though:wink1: it functions great although the shifters are angled back towards the seat quite a bit, not sure if i can adjust the links or not, if not, ill just heat and bend but it will be fine for now til i switch my cabs.......

I have the same setup. Excellent quality. I was very impressed with what I got, for the price. It even functions as well as it looks!

I also have the same setup and was very pleased with the product. They are very smooth shifting and rather easy to install. Made a big difference since the stock shifter always bound up coming out of 4hi and was near impossible to get into 4lo.

I have a twin stick and i love it. had to do some floor trimming but no big deal. Its real nice to cruise threw the easy trails in 2wd low range! i have a manual trans so i can put in 2nd gear in low with just the rear axle going. plus if you hook ur rear ebrakes to seperate handles you can spin on one or the other. id say its a good deal, spent a couple dollars more for mine.

I'm wondering just how far back the levers are angled...does anyone have a pic? Is the installation done from in the cab or from underneath? (Hopefully the 'case doesn't have to be removed) I assume a sawsall will work for the floor opening? I'm considering this shifter....looks good.

Thanks for the input guys, that's what I was wanting to hear. I just got a 205 for a good deal, now I just have to put it, which might be a pain in the A$$ since I have a 700.

unless your shift rails have been modified already, youll have to remove the case. the shifter itself can be and will prob be installed after you put the case back in as it is difficult to install the case with the shifter already on it. as for the angle of the shifter; its setting against my bench but like i said earlier, the best way to take care of that is to heat and bend:D ill see what i can do about some pics............

I highly recommend installing the shifters with the transfer case and adapter out of the vehicle. It took me a couple attempts to get all of the linkage dialed in. Once you are satisfied pull it apart and install on vehicle.

i agree with 71Chevy, get all your linkages adjusted on the ground, mark them, remove, install case, get the shifters set up as before.

i didnt do this after i rebuilt my case and i keep kicking myself, mine are off just enough that front low pops out, now i have to crawl under and play guess and check--- much easier to get it right on the ground then reinstall as you had it IMO
