Unimog 416 axle Pics

I have a set in my garage that I'm building a buggy around, I'll see if I can get some good pics of them in a while.

That would be great, just wanna get an idea of where everything is on them and what I am going to have to do about spring perches and my t case.

sorry for the dumb off topic question but are the 416 stronger than 406 axles

Nope, same axle, just most 416's had disc brakes and high speed gears while the 406's are older and had drums and low speed gears but some, very few, of the 406's got discs.

My 421 has drums and either 8.3 or 8.8:1 gears. From what I gather mine is just an agricultural-"ag" model 406.
