unknown rattle

    I still have this obscure rattle coming from the bellhousing area"I think" the codes are not giving me anything to do with sensors or the transmisson? I am perplexed the rattle is basically only noticable at idle or just above....

    Get under your truck and try to move everything you can and see if its loose. I had the same problem and found out it was only a loose heat shield vibrating against the exhaust pipe. It only did it at certain RPM's. It got to the perfect resonant frequency and would cause it to vibrate. Sounded like my transmission was completely chewed up. Try looking first, it's free.
