I want to install some bump stops before blazer bash. Probably just the rubber or poly type. I got some rubber ones from Norby that will work on the front.

My question is how much up travel on the axles front and rear would you say is enough?

70 jimmy with 37" Krawlers, 14 bolt rear with Detroit, 10 bolt front, nothing fancy for shocks, rear are in boarded. All leaf spring suspension, 6 " in front, realistically 7" or so in rear with combo of super shackles, shackle flip. Springs are Tuff country easy rides. Crossover steering with hydro assist if that matters any.

Thanks.

Pull a string from spring eye bolt to spring eye bolt and set bump 1in before that. This will give you max up with the springs flat so you don't tweak them.

On the General I had them set to contact at the point the springs were pretty much flat. I felt this would help the springs survive longer.
