URGENT!! Eldo Caliper Brake Cables

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/bzc/full.aspx?Page=142

Ok I need to make part 12 on the bottom picture. Its called the Equalizer. Does anyone have a picture of this part? I'm not sure exactly and can't remember for the life of me how it connects to the drivers side brake cable.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

ETA I apparetly also need the rear bracket (the peice near the equalizer.) SOB what was i thinking.

Does anyone have these parts they'd be willing to part with? Right now I'd pay a PREMIUM for them as there aren't any on this island anywhere it seems and I'd rather not have to fab them up myself.

Let me know, Thanks!

Its pretty much just like it looks. Its a fairly heavy bracket with three holes in in it. The single cable from the foot pedal goes in one end, and is attached using a long threaded rod.
This rod gives you a master adjustment for both brakes.

Then, the left and right cables hook to the two holes on the other end, also using threaded rods if I remember right.

These two rods give you individual adjustments for the left and right cables.

The whole assembly just floats between the cables and moves back and forth when you push and release the brake.

Finally, somebody else from ck5 on this damn rock! Welcome to the frustration of Hawaii. I unfortunately don't have the parts you need but I can tell you if you schedule your recon as early in the am as possible and have the e-brake mostly working you'll pass (at least that part). Do you know what all you need on the truck to pass yet? I couldn't find all the info so I ended up having to fail once to figure out what needed changed. Let me know if you need any more info and good luck with the recon bs. As for the regular safety check it all depends on where you go, but they don't seem to care much. The Goodyear in Kailua is very lenient FYI. :thumb:
