I've been offered a late model aircon pump (90's) and was thinking of using it for on board air. What sort of cfm are they and what sort of pressure do they put out?
I know there's an issue with lubing them but I can prob get aroung that.
Thanks.

i'm not sure i know what pump you got but i got one out of a older mopar from a pick your part for like 20 bucks it is the v twin style pump and it works like a hot dam i can run a air gun off it. i can knock off all 8 lugs on one tire without wating for air. although i had to wait for air when i changed paxxes tire those nuts were rusted on good he broke my socked trying too take them off with a breaker bar good thing for the air gun though or he still might be out there :D

What do you do about lubing the pump? Or does anyone else know a good method? I guess some kind of separater after the pump and manually put some in before use?
