Value of Weld Scorpios

What do you think the re-sale value of a set of 16x8 Weld Scorpio Aluminum 8-lug rims in good used shape with caps would be?

I'm thinking of taking them in on trade, basically for re-sale. My friend said he wanted to get $450 for the set. Think I can get $400?

I would say you could get at least $500 for them as long as they aren't all scratched up. They are over $1000 for the set with the caps new. Hold on to them for a couple years and you could probably get another 100-200 for them. Welds are going up in price disgustingly fast. So a $400-$450 trade value isn't a bad deal then.

I have an NP241 T-case that he wants as a spare for his wife's Suburban, and he offered me the rims.

If I had a nice set of larger 16" tires, I'd probably keep them, but they're too nice for anything I have, and I just need to do a quick re-sale to get some money back.

Well, good luck if you can get something for them. My buddy had a set of typhoons, on 35" MTs with 3k miles on them, he wanted 750 for the set and couldnt sell them. Finally he sold the tires, but still cant get rid of the wheels.

the 35s r all terrain wild countrys...all have no less than 50% tread..a couple have more..want pics?

I'll try to go look at the rims today, maybe do the trade and bring them home and get some pics.

What do you think the value of the set of 35's is in your opinion? If I can get a total of $400-$450 in the end out of the rims from the T-case trade, I'll be getting my investment back.
