how about the fact that we have forward-facing full color binocular vision which is highly motion sensative?!? any time some hippy granola eater tells you that homosapien isn't designed to eat meat, ask them how many plant eaters have that type of vision.
I hope the Camster attacks with his canines, he has changed the way I think about things...
How's that ToFu been for the cheerios Fumes?
One argument to bring up is our digestive track: It's more in line with plant-eaters.
Otherwise you have an excellent point .
I find I fart and crap more if I eat stuff like salads and spinach then when I eat steak.
Yup, keep your fiber up for those awesome 'redwood births' !!
"Vegetarian" is an ancient word for "lousy hunter"
AFAIK if you feed a steak to an elephant, he will **** out most of it soon thereafter, because their digestive systems aren't designed to break-down / absorb / use meat. Our digestive system gets the beneficial nutrients etc out of meat just fine... which is telling. As far as its physical design... how does it compare with that of other animals that eat both meat and plants? like bears?
My point is our digestive track is very, very long like a plant eater. However we do have a gall bladder to deal with the meat fat.
A true meat-eating animals digestive track is very, very short. Almost straight from mouth to a$$!!
That's it. Just a side by side comparison .
i wouldn't suggest that we are pure meat eaters... leave that to lions and tigers and sharks and all those guys.
It may of sounded silly, but SierraClassic has a point !
I think once upon a time there was some lousy hunters that had to adapt or starve. And our bodies adapted as well.
