I am looking for a portable air tank abour 7-9 gallons that is vertical NOT horizontal. I've seen them before. As a matter of fact, I bought one from Sam's Club a couple of years ago, it's just in Colorado :doah:

So, anyone know where I can get one? I willing to order via ebay, internet, telephone, etc. It will just fit better in my enclosed trailer.

I am also hoping to find one that will hold >125 psi, although I haven't had much luck finding any that do that.

Also, if you have one like I am describing, post up the size, mr, etc, so that maybe I can research that route as well.

And as always, thank you again for your support!

why not get a ..

Used empty 20 or 50 gallon propane, or 30 gallon freon tank with the air hose conversion kit you can get for 10 bucks or less at most hardware stores..

I've pumped them up to 125psi without any failures, but I prefer 100 psi or less..tons of propane tanks are available free at the dump,at least here anyway--they recently changed the valving for gas grills,,and all older tanks must be discarded, most places wont fill them unless its used for "industrial purposes only",like welding ,forklift,etc..freon tanks can be had at most A/C or refrigeration repair places..

I see a lot of 21 gallon air compressors on ebay all the time, but not the 7-9 gallons

Yeah, I've seen those. I just want a portable vertical tank. I already have a 30 gal vert A/C. I'd take up to an 11, but anything bigger is just too big to hand carry when I need it.

Thanks Jimbo. I checked there website & couldn't find one. So, I sent s comment in looking for one. Who knows, maybe I'll get a reply:laugh:

If they don't have one in the store, they have a flyer on the counter; it's in there.

I read the online flyer, & I didn't see it. I guess I'll look again.

I need to check with the website anyways to find if there is one in Tucson.

EDIT: Yup, double checked. It's not in the online ad for tools/equipment. I have to say that Car Qyests online store SUCKS!! Anyway, Jim, if you get a chance the next time you get into town, would you get me the part #, mfr, etc, so that I can go local and or google it? Thanks (Optimistically :))

What is driving the verticle part? Can you not just stand a horiz on end, or is there something I'm missing?
