When I drive my 88 k5 i notice a vibration coming for under the truck, it sounds like its coming from the trans, but it only does this while idleing and not under acceleration or while cruzing. any thoughts? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

what about while decellerating? check the trans mount 1st. the bolts of the crossmember. also check the heat shield if there is one. My 79 had a heat shield that when i swapped transfer cases the speedo would tick at idel but not anytime else drove me nuts til i cut the shield.

no their is no vibration while decelerating, just while parked at idel or stopped at a light around town

Is your A/C on ? Mine vibrates a bit at idle , mostly in gear . I sat and watched my comprerssor vibrate on the brackets , runs fine , so I said forget it , run it until it dies , get another .

Its is something to check into , it will shake every loose thing so it sounds like its elsewhere . It won't hurt to look , thats free /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

i normally dont run the ac and i have tracked the vibration to under the truck any other thoughts?
