Just seeing if anyone has a truck they dont use or is all messed up.

I need a vin plate for a 73-78 blazer (these were in the door i believe)and a title.

it will take about 3 months to find the one for my truck.

thanks

I have a 76.
I have no idea if there's any fees on it.
If you take care of what ever there is (after you check to see if it's worth it) you can have it for $10, my time to look for it.

that'll work, if you have both just pretend you sold me a whole truck and sign over the title and mail both. it's just rivets holding the vin plate. i think the only fees to be paid are when i register the truck. but if there are all pay any.

thanks

fees ? how/why ? what kind ?

how do they do that there ?

you never know, but i am just going to play it off as a sale of a truck. i dont think it will be a big deal. i live in New Mexico and when I registered my truck the first time the lady needed to see the vin tag. as we are walking outside she tells me that the vin is on the door. I chuckled.

as we walk outside she get a big dumbfounded look "where are the doors?"
"they're gone, the vin is in the front window."
she looks at the 42's and says "thats ok, I believe you."

needless to say all they are concerned about is the $$.

With selling it to someone out of state they will not have to pay old registration fees from California. I've hauled away trucks from CA that had more back fees than they were worth down there and didn't have to pay a dime of it when I got it back to Oregon.
