Visiting Estes Park, CO in May

Nothing established. We just do some trail runs as we get the whim. Unfortunately there are many trails around Estes Park.

Aren't, I always miss the "n't". :doah:

The biggest thing to see around Estes is Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. Unfortunately you'll be too early in the year to drive Trail Ridge Road. It's usually closed due to being snowed in until Memorial Day at the earliest and this year I'm guessing it'll later than that.

Most of the stuff in that area is shopping and sightseeing.

If you play golf at all they have a real nice course. I played once and there were elk all over the course just laying under the trees. There are lots of elk around. Not too sure what else there is to do there though.

If you havent already looked here check out this site:

It is a beautiful part of CO, have fun!

Fort Collins is about 40 minutes away. Hit the "Old Town" area and maybe New Belgium Brewery (home of Fat Tire).

Rocky Mountain National Park is a must and the Stanley Hotel is pretty cool too.
