OK: From some snooping I've done, it looks like there's 2 ways to make 383 ci from a 350 block... either the standard 4" bore with a 3.8" throw crankshaft (and matching rods, natch!), OR you can bore out to 4.030" and use a 3.75" throw crank (this is a kit from PAW).

Now the Frankenstein part: since that PAW kit comes in a 4.060" bore version, making 388 ci from the 3.75" throw crank, could I use a 3.8" crank with a 4.060" bore to get 393 ci?

... and what kind of camshaft could be run with this monster...

...and assuming I could get my TBI to feed the thing, would it self-destruct on the launchpad, shear the axles, burn the tranny (700r4), or burst into flames?

Just thinking... heh heh heh... Igor! Bring the fire extinguisher!!!

I would worry more about the villagers[IMG], and for Gods sake keep it chained up at night, and away from the children[IMG]
