Want to put a crossover streering into my 79 K5

    Can someone please help. I want to put crossover steering into my 1979 K5 /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif. Can someone please let me know where i can get a new or used system and how to put it in my truck. Thank you for your help.

  2. I have the stock front end for '79 K5. I will be putting a 6" lift on the truck.

    <font color="green"> I'd suggest doing a search, this has been covered alot in here, and with your front end it is fairly involved and not terribly cheap. Basically you need to swap the knuckles to a different style, have the right side one machined for a steering arm, buy the steering arm and drag link, get a 2wd steering box and pitman arm, ends for the drag link, and put it all together.</font color>
