AR Wanted - FWC K5 Camper

You should scrounge it up and get it. You know it'll flip, esp if you only add a few $ for your troubles.
I should, but I lack the time and the spare funds to do so. Erie is about a 150 miles from me so it's a little bit of a haul. Plus I've got no way to carry it.

These campers have no floor. But they do have a back wall with the door that reaches to the floor. So there is no way to just set it on the deck of a trailer. Easiest way to move one is to bolt it on a blazer.

If I find one , I’ll take several pieces of 2x4 and screws and sawzall. Basically build a platform to bolt it to on site. Then add some straps and hope for the best. I’ve even thought about hauling the K5 to wherever I find a camper , then swapping on site , haul it all back. Either way , IM STILL SEARCHING FOR A CAMPER.

I've thought about doing that with a trailer. Key thing to remember is mount the camper backwards on the trailer. This way the rear door is facing into the wind. Otherwise that big wide opening is going to catch air like a parachute while driving.

I'm always looking so if another shows up I'll shoot it your way.

Have you considered buying one already restored? I have thought about selling mine and building one like America Mike did.
Absolutely depending on price
