Warn Hub Questions

    The hubs on my Blazer are not engaging at all when locked. My Blazer was once full-time which has since been converted. I am learning with this Blazer to never assume that things are correctly installed. What is the correct procedure for removing/replacing/rebuilding warn Hubs? Can the removal be accomplished without removing the wheel or lifting the thing off the ground.

    Warn vs Milemarker, which are yall running?

    I don't know about a full-time converted, but when I converted my auto hubs, nothing had to come off the ground. I simply removed the old hub and put the new one in place. To clean mine, I simply rermove the Warn cap, remove the retainer in the hub, and pull the gear assembly. I degrease it and clean out the inside of the hub. Don't want any water in there. Then I apply some spary on silicone to the hub assembly and reinstall everything in the reverse order that it was removed.

    Takes me about 15 minutes per side to remove, clean, and re-install. I switched to Warn Premiums about 3 months ago and have never looked back. While I can't comment on the other brands, I like mine very much.
