Wayne - and others interested in CUCV bumper brackets

    Ok, I took the back bumper off of my truck a couple of days ago (to slide the bed back for easier fuel system access) and I remembered you asking for bracket pictures. So, grabbed the camera to take some other pictures and took these too. Here ya are...

    You can see where the flat plate sandwiches the frame between it and the bumper outrigger brace. You can also clearly see the lower plate that bolt to the bottom of the frame.

    Thanks for the pics. I got to take a good look at the set up a few weeks ago over at Rogers house. He had a bare CUCV frame with the bumpers still attatched. I have the bumper and brackets for the back and one of these days I will get them on. For the front I am buying Boss's winch bumper and going to do some mods to it to reinforce the ends and I have a set of shackel mounts from the back of a CUCV ambelance that I am going to mount to it.
