Weigh ALL the crew cabs!

:crewcab: 4580 lbs... :D

I remember my '82 crew with the 6.2L diesel in all stock condition was 6600#. I had to weight it when I registered my '03 because the '03 was from out of state and they didn't recognize the body type. I didn't want to weigh the '03 because it had the camper so I took the other "white chevy crewcab". If it makes you feel better, the '03 actually weighs more like 10K empty.

My '90 F350 CCLB diesel 4x4, with steel flatbed, was around 8K the one time I scaled it. A lot of people don't realize how fast the weights can go up once they start modifying things and adding stuff like lifts, bigger tires, beds, bumpers, winches, etc. My flatbed is near 1K pounds by itself...

6270 lbs (empty with no people) from the scale at the local landfill.

The truck specs are 350/NV4500/NP205 D60/14BFF (single wheel), 250 lbs of fabricated bumpers, 12K winch with steel cable. 16.5” aluminum wheels and 37” MTR military tires (and a matching spare), 10ish gallons of fuel onboard, and a hi-lift jack. The factory seats and sheet metal is mostly all there (it’s dented and beat but intact) minus a little fender trimming. It has no carpet or other floor covering at present either.

It's hard for me to believe mine is a ton heavier than yours.

Yeah, that does seem hard to believe. The next time i drive mine into town, I’ll go get mine weighed on a certified scale. I do know the factory specs from the GM brochures say they weigh around 6500 lbs.

Maybe his truck is under powered and he needs a LS

Mine was 5780 with all my trail tools, spare tire, and a full 31 gallon tank

My 91. Tbi350 4l80 205. Cclb with one tank full and the small stuff I added. Headache rack and cucv gaurd and a Detroit rear lol.

6450 with me in it.

Let's not forget:
Bbc
Doubler
Big tires
Custom bumpers with winch?
Dual batteries?
Do you have a roll cage?
Do you have bigger fuel tanks?
We tend to forget that stuff.
Also notice the 2wd is 1000 lbs lighter, no tcase no front d60
