Well Im at it again..............

You said you used dupont "Nason" Base/clear, what color did you choose? How do you like it?

also on the lift. You said you have a 6” Tuff country front lift springs on front, are they just stock length leafs and are the back leafs stock length? How long of shackle do you have on the back?

On the Jimmy I used Bright Red, I can get you the color code if you like. I really like the Nason line, I just bought the charcoal grey for the Blazer and some more Sunburst orange to repaint the 67'.

The Springs are stock length and was all bought as a kit from rough country, I believe the rear springs are 2" lift.

I just sold the Jimmy this last weekend to member Tonyraca, he flew in and drove it home to California and said he was getting 11mpg according to GPS mileage. I am now gonna get back on track with the Blazer!

cant wait for more blazer updates! All your work is awesome :bow:

If you would send the code that would be sweet! I always like red but its hard to tell what red from pictures. also, what paint did you use on those axles? they look clean!

Im guessing he liked it?

Man life has been busy! I actually got a weekend to myself, My brother and nieghbor came over and we got the blazer blocked out in 400, then wetsanded in 400, then wet sanded in 600. I dont have alot of room to spray everything at once, So I did the tailgate and the hood today.

With any luck I can get the blazer masked throughout the week between work, school, t-ball and life! I might be able to get some paint on the rest of the blazer, then I have to clean up some welds on the cage and get it painted. On the plus side I got a ton of shiny new parts to go on it.

Second in line... You have three years:haha:

Looks incredible dude. You have some of the nicest stuff on here:bow:

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I cant wait to get the rest of the paint on and start putting it back together. I am getting pretty dang good at laying the paint down, This is my second metallic paint job and I gotta say it laid down pretty nice. I still have to cut and buff it.

The painting is the fun part, its all that dang block sanding that really gets to a guy! All that pretty paint has to have a perfect foundation though. I need to get the blazer put back together so I can get the 67 all dolled up again.

Well its not perfect, but it is pretty nice. Finally getting to put some parts back on this thing! Wednesday Im gonna try to get the cage back in the garage and start cleaning up some welds and shoot the cage black.

Well I got a little bit done today. Got up early and got the passenger side wet sanded and buffed, I think i will hit it again though its still a little foggy, but no more orange peel. I still have to cut and buff the drivers side though.

I am not happy at all with the tailgate gaps, not quite sure how that happened, maybe when I cut out the bedsides to weld in the patches?

I am finding that I robbed a ton of small pieces off my blazer to finish the jimmy though. I am missing the litle L that goes on the back of the lock cylinder in the door and the retaining clip that holds the cylinder in the door. Also missing my factory radio cups and knobs:doah:
