Went RC Wheeling Tonight(pics)

Ever since I got my 1/6 wally crawlers I've been gettin back into RC's. Dusted off my Clod crawler...put a new clutch in my T-Maxx. Latley they have been giving me more enjoyment than my K5..

heres my small money pit i've been thinking about sellin all of my rc stuff im thinkin i *could* get around 500 for all of it then im alot closer to my new gears. :)

what i started with

Mine is the 1:25 scale scorpian, didnt want to shell out the 150 for the 1:6 scale.

I have a Rustler that has been sitting for about 4 years. I need a new Idler and Top Gear for it, probably need to rebuilt my shocks, get new bearings to. Im sure the batterys are Junk too...damn this is starting to add up. Its basically sittign while the big truck gets fixed.

Rusty's are a blast though, tough as nails too. I've got a rustler that I built as a joke for the guys at the shop with a Lehner and MGM brushless setup that'll hit 65+ for about 12-14 minutes. It sure is fun, not as bad $$ too compared to full size stuff.

Yeah, I cant do that.

I bought a Baja about 4 weeks ago (1/5th scale offroad buggy) and have since parted out my nitro and my 1/18th scale. I want the new Tamiya 4x4 Hi-Lift coming out, it looks like a remake of the Bruiser. Only downside is it has a F350 body on it. It would be badass to get one with a Blazer body on it! I just couldnt justify spending 300+ on an old Blazin Blazer body!

Esteban, where did you get those body panels?

I'm almost positive he used an old Clodbuster body, like the one pictured above.

Partial mockup of what I'm making. Chassis will be 1/4" and 3/16" brakeline, with 1/4" solid aluminum links; 14" WB with Clod axles. Motivation will be oh-so-1990: a Novak 610RV ESC and a pair of Trinity Matched Madness motors.

Cool, keep us posted.

I'm excited for Tamiya's new Hi-Lift to hit the shelves at the shop. Looks like it'll be a blast to mod.

I want to build one. Is there plan's or some thing? and where do you get all the cool parts? I was thinking of getting a gas powered truck I think the RC10gt but I would like the crawler better.

I finally took a few pics of what I've done so far.
The design keeps morphing as I go; it doesn't look much like the sketch I initially made.

***EDIT*** I forgot to re-size; the attachments are huge! If you're on dialup, and you wanna see them full-size, go get another beer... it'll be a while.
