My 88 had been loosing power slowly for awhile.
Lately it seemed it couldnt get over about 3500-4000RPM WOT.
Yesterday I got a Service Engine light. The code was 44 (Lean Exhaust).
I decided to change the filter and I cant believe the difference. Dont think it has ever had this kind of getup and go since Ive owned it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I poured the inlet gas from the filter into a jar. It looked like it had a ton of dirt & grime in it. May need to drop and flush the tank soon.

Just thought you would like to know /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
