This weekend I grenaded my 350 wheeling, I'm weighing the option of dropping a TBI 350 into, what am I getting into as far as changing things like mounts, headers, etc. Any input would be great.

Assuming you have a carb 350 now, it should be a direct bolt in. You will have to have all the wiring and computer to go with it, may be a good idea to have a complete donor vehicle available. You'll also need a sending unit and fuel pump from a TBI truck, or at least an aftermarket in-line pump.

This is just a start, off the top of my head.

Yes it's a 74 350, carbed, How many PSI does the TBI need from a pump to run good? I'm swapping out the whole driveline minus front and rear ends, already dropped the 203 on the ground, literally, and the THM350 is coming out with the engine, I want to put a SM465 with either a 205/208, but If I could find a 700r4, might go that way IDK, I just want this to be as painless as possible, so I can go tear some more **** up, Like the dana 44, lol

If you do decide to go the TBI route, find a parts truck so you can have everything right there. When I did mine it was almost as simple as unbolting and unplugging everything then installing it in my 79.

If you get a blazer parts truck it will be that much easier, because I had to go through modding fuel lines and finding a pickup gas tank. wasnt hard at all but everthing will just fall into place with a K5

Not sure if I'll have the money to find a good donor truck/blazer, gonna be going down to the u pull and pay and snatching parts thats why I'm trying to figure out everything I need. I know I'm gonna need ecu, wiring harness, O2 sensor, a fuel pump of some sort, probably some odds and ends, and depending on what tranny/x-fer case I find to go with maybe driveshafts, etc. Thanks for the input tho

Something like 20psi, maybe less. The regulator in the throttle body knocks it down to whatever and sends the excess back to the tank, so you will need fuel feed and return lines.

I got a 1991 truck with a TBI 350, i don't really want the engine, I want to put a 6.2 diesel instead.
I could sell you all the gas stuff.
Let me know if you are interested.
